Who we are

The Hub Church Plant at Towcester is a community of people of different ages and walks of life. We are united by a vision to live life the way Jesus described. We are gathering together in order to form a new church plant. We have a vision to build close relationships based on honesty and reality. We aim to share life together and encourage one another to follow Jesus so that our faith works through the whole of our lives.

Towcester and its surrounding villages

Since September 2019 we have been running weekly Sunday meetings at the Sawpits Centre in Towcester. We also have a number of small groups meeting weekly in homes in and around Towcester. We are a growing body of Christians with a heart for the area and a heart for outreach. We want to see the kingdom of God extended in this town and its surrounding villages.

We are linked with and supported by the following organisations...

Den and Becky Martin

Den and Becky Martin have lived in the area for over 20 years. They have had a heart for the town of Towcester and its surrounding villages. God has been speaking through pictures and words about the gospel speading in power through the area. At the beginning of 2016 Den and Becky felt a number of clear promptings from the Holy Spirit to get started and begin a group to get together to pray for the town and to seek God over what he wants to do.

New Life Church, Milton Keynes

New Life Church is the church who support us most closely and who manage our bank account, with a legal charitable structure. The church is led by Richard Wightman and its charity number is 1119167.

Catalyst Network

The Catalyst Network is a group of churches within the Newfrontiers family of churches who work together to make disciples and promote the kingdom of God. The churches are mostly in England, south Wales, the Russian Federation, west and Central Africa, right across Europe, and in parts of India and Asia.

Newfrontiers

Newfrontiers is a large network of churches with apostolic connections and which was originally started by Terry Virgo on the south coast of England. This is a network based on close relationships between churches with very little structure or bureaucracy. It now includes thousands of churches worldwide.

Churches Together In Towcester

We are part of the Churches Together in Towcester network and support local initiatives. We are keen to partner with others in Towcester to build the Kingdom of God.

Why the Hub?

What's in a name?

We see that Towcester is a hub for its surrounding villages. We want to see the kingdom of God reaching out from this hub and into the surrounding area. Jesus is the centre of the hub and it is his power and his love that matters. If you want to read our story so far click here.
